I found a used Regent 38" for $1500 with 101 hrs, 20HP Briggs and a bagger. Don't know the exact age of the mower but it is in good shape. Is this overpriced or is this a good price?

Depends what year, how much wear. Some of the newer Regent's went for big $ and had some nice features. The hours on that sounds like two summers of an acre yard. So it's new used in my book.

With the economy here in Michigan the new Regents at my dealer are listed at $1999. If it is fairly new sounds like it's worth it. If it is older than 5 years you might be able to talk him down...
