The owner of a local small engine place I go to for parts let me walk through his boneyard today, I flipped over a tarp and found a 2010 under it. I have been looking for one, or a B-10 since I joined here and saw some photos of them.

I'm not sure what to look for, as far as problem areas go on these machines. Its missing the hood and all pulleys and the engine are frozen. I have no idea if all the rear pulleys are there, it looked like something may be missing in the rear. It has a sticker for a Hi-Lo but I didn't see a lever for it and I don't know if it has the rest of it.

The guy wants $75 for it, I was going to offer him $50, is it worth that? I figure at worse case its a parts machine for when I do find one.

Sorry the only camera I had on me was the garbage on my BlackBerry. I am going to go back tomorrow on my lunch break to look at it again.

In my opinion...if I could buy this for 50.00,I would do it in a heartbeat. If push comes to shove, part it out and scrap whatever nobody wants. By the way,if you do part out,I may be interested in a few items LOL. Mark

I'd go for it at 50, 75 if the BGB and steering are tight. Just my two cents, most of my old roundhoods have junk steering gears, (lower bearing gone for years) so good ones are a deal maker for me. Definitely a good parts machine at least.

Life is all about paying. Pay attention, or pay the consequences, the choice is yours. Rich

Well...? =] Were you able to snag that thing? $50 for any 'complete' machine is a steal. If you can get it running, even better! Hope it went well...
