Ready for snow. And maybe for winter.
Trying the plow out this year. I imagine the thrower will always be my favorite though.

| For some reason I always feel a little "more manly" plowing it, but as discussed here before, using the snow blower is usually the more practical so you can place the snow. Maybe you should handle one blizzard plowing and one blowing and report back! :) Very nice either way though. |

| nothing wrong with plowing, IF you have the room to put every thing. i used the grader blade the other day to move the slush around. works good , but now i have piles of dirt and snow laying around. |

Looking good Larry! I would like to try a blower some day, the only one I have doesn't have a hitch so it sits.
Last year was the first time I have had to plow back the burms at the edge of the drive to make more room, snow kept coming and wouldn't get warm enough to melt. Usually around here maybe two snows in a row at most and then a bit of a warmer couple days and most leaves to make room for the next one. Last year the crap wouldn't leave, it got stale!
I'm wondering how plowing will go with the B-10 opposed to the B-210 I used last year, the 210 has much more ground speed which is great for plowing. The B-10 doesn't have stock pulleys to say the least.

Phil, from what I recall, the variable and shuttle drives were the only ones to have the idler pulley pressing down on the inner surface of the belts. My 7010-6 speed, all of the 7xxx series hydro's and standards have the idler coming up on the outer surface of the belt. Could be why the adjustments on the shuttle and variables are a little touchy.
Then again, I should check the operators manuals to make sure they are correct.  Wouldn't be the first time I had assumed wrong. |
