Today my dad bought two dump truck loads of topspol for the garden to raise it up, so i took out the 3414h with the dozer blade and started knocking down the sides some of the dirt is going to be put in the holes of the stumps i ripped out earlier in the day

Lot's more fun than using those foul things with handles! Looks like some nice soil he brought home. |

Looks like a good time. Nice tractor also. Too bad that Volks Van in the background isn't in better shape.

so many questions lol VW bus, my dads 3rd car ben sitting for 25 years, ran when parked, he bought for 75 dollars drove from ct to florida 4 times in it, it is hopefully our sumer project, not a restore because the frame is desinigrated, so we are going to get a bug, the buss is filled with vw beetle parts worth some$$$ i sold 3 rear deck lids from it for 300 which i used to but this tractor!

Great tractor! But what happened to the hood and operator? I've long believed 1974 was the pinnacle of achievment for Detroit, and perhaps Port Washington as well, new enough to take advantage of emerging technology, old enough so quality was till job 1. IMO the only garden tractor that beats a 3414H is a 3416H.
