Well, even though it was a crazy, last minute dash and crash I drove 700 miles today to Wisconsin and got a 515 Serf. I offered him $100 for it since it is not currently running. Motor is free and he vowed it ran last year. So keeping my fingers crossed. But I am such a sucker for these little tractors for the kids, and now all five kiddos have a tractor. Can't wait for the other Serf to be restored so they can all have one up and running. Here are the pics, can't wait to get it cleaned up.

So in age of the oldest kid and their tractor:
Emma - 10 years old has a 1974 Broadmoor 738
Olivia - 8 years old and has a 1968 Yeoman 616
Alex - 6 years old and has a 1963 Broadmoor
Isabelle - 4 years old and has this 1968 515 Serf
Abigail - 2 years old and has a 1970 535 Serf (in pieces being restored).

I can't wait to get a lineup of the four on their tractors soon.

Wow it looks tall without a mower.
Looks like you made another good save.

Wow! Your youngest is two already? My how time flies.

I was thinking the same things! That will be a fine picture when you get it put together!

That mower is mint for it's age. Nice snag!

Handsome little 515! That might be the nicest seat cover I've ever seen on a small frame! wow!

Yeah, it seems like it wasn't long ago that we were seeing newborn pics of your youngest. Incredible...

Yeah, never thought of having 5 but they are tons of fun. Lots of work, of course, but it is really fun taking them places and doing things with them now that they are getting older. Here are a couple pics from Fathers Day weekend when I took the older three to Michigan International Speedway for a Nascar race. Good fun.
