On a tip from another tractor nut, I ran about 30 minutes down the road and picked up this machine last nite. Neat little thing. Shouldn't take much doing to get her going. Looks like the engine is a 6hp Tec.








The boss approves...


Should be fun for Jr when he's old enough for a ride

looks like one of those wind up recoils.... and hit throttle to release...
pretty cool, makes starting easier for someone that cant pull really well...
like a young kid... we had one on my dads toro push mower in the early 70's (also a tecumseh)

yeah, but if the engine was a hard starter you could wear yourself out pretty quickly. Wind, wind, wind, wind, wind, pull the trigger, "Clunk, puff, puff, puff, clunk"!
