After having this for a year, I finally got around to mounting it on my 7016-6 after scrounging a few missing parts. Since the front pulley on the 7016 is so much bigger than the FDT's, I have kept the throttle and engine speed at a max of 50%. It is a fun attachment and you have to keep reminding yourself not to try to take on too much, after all, it was not designed as a replacement for a chainsaw. Here I am clearing out some of the junk growth along the woods and hiking trails. The good new stands of maple and oak that have a decent chance of surviving are not being touched. Thorn bushes, briars, and other junk is history in quick order. Most of it was under 1/2". Did tackle a couple in the 3/4 to 1" range and just eased into them with no resistance.
You have used it. You have enjoyed it. You are done with it. Time to send it on down the road.
I've been looking for one of those for a while now, (and I have a FDT), with no success. Perhaps even Mr Green is ready to part with his. The new smaller property certainly need something so rough as that.:)
