This is that $200 Sovereign I dragged home a few weeks ago. I sold the 48" deck off it for $200, so its a Sovereign I now have 6 gallons of gas and a couple of days into.
I put a pair of 62 pound iron weights, 2-link chains, and a dozer blade on it. Man, this is a real beast!
I'll never be a believer in agg style lugged/ribbed tires on this class tractor, but after spreading out 5 yards of fresh cow manure I can see where tri-ribs/luggs might cut through snotty, slimy fresh cow manure. Compliments of my neighbor and the last real farm owner here in Unity.
So! Who has expereince with agg tires in a foot of the fresh, slimy, but not quite runny, "GOOD ****"??
Man! I think I spread as much with the **** sticking to the tires as I did with the blade!!! :)

yaeh, if there ever was a time for AG's, that'd be it! =] Should be a nice addition to the food plot there Larry. I was going to do the same thing, had I stuck around another year. Did the neighbor deliver, too? |

I have luggs on my T-16H, and its usually wet enough here so I cant drive across the lawn without doing damage. Haven't tried it on this cause my Simple tachments dont fit!
This is going to be easier to mow and half going into a perinnial garden next year.
The manure is free and delivered. The bushes in the background are on Freddies property, and we are doing a collaboritive effort to make the border look good AND be good neighbors.... :)

If you call my neighbor "Mister Manure" he'd be tickled pink. His philosophy is dump it on everything, let it grow. Dump again.... |

Yeh! Last spring I let him put 2" on my garden, he would have buried it if I'd let him. Actually, my annual garden out back is getting 3 years worth of composted leaves this fall, and maybe limed. I got to find a good spreader for lime/fertilizer/seed... etc. |

Exactly why I put ags on the front of my Massey 1655 w/FEL. Yes, they still collect some manure, but nowhere near as bad as smooth tires being they self-clean to a point. Plus they give much better steering traction.

That looks a nice compact tractor. Is it 4 wheel drive? |

I wish 4WD! Just needed the ags for better steering. The std turf fronts just skated once covered over with poo. These ags always steer well, even in nasty sticky manure. |

It is hard to get manure here so I just dump my black water on the garden. Anyone want some collard greens? |

Uhhhhhh, never had them, how good are they? If they are REALLY good I might overlook that second statement. Maybe. |

We never ate collards when I was a kid. I hate to say it but they were considered the fair of another socioeconomic group. It took me 50 years to find out that they were far tastier IMO than turnip or mustard greens. |
