Got the most important one done today, now to put the cab back on the B210 and decide whether or not to run the BIG TEN this winter. I do like plowing with that with the stinger counterweight. Far nicer than the manual lift on the 7112H, Man!! that blade gets heavy!

Power lift is definitely a big plus. I can't imagine lifting one of those blowers by hand more than a couple times.

Old reliable is ready as usual. Good looking outfit for sure. My new plowing tractor (no blowers here yet) is only a rolling chassis at this point, I'm hoping for a distinct lack of snow for a while. |

I have never had a blower on a tractor without power lift, but the spring trip blade with no counterweight is bad enough. Next year, except for the round hoods, I shouldn't have any "front line tractors" woithout power lift.
Oops, ME BAD. I had the 3 belt blower on the BIG TEN last year, but it had a counterweight.

I really like the looks of that 3 belt blower with the drift cutters, but what a difference on the single belt engaging PTO from the seat! |

Yup, that 3 belt is nice and tight, and COOL. But it will never be a front line attachment. I love it though. But I dont much like being anywhere off the tractor with these single stage blowers running. |

Crew is lookin good so far Larry...I ran a 36" blower with a manual lift or counterweights last winter...ONCE. =] A good workout, but not nearly as fun as it coulda been.
I fell in love with my remote angle 46" blade last winter, and could be picking up a second this week. Where I am, its just too dang windy for effective use or enjoyment of a blower, but now that I have a cab, so maybe we'll give it another shot. |

I just wear a full helmet! =]
Im more the ballcap, carhartt jacket and mechanics gloves type. My cheeks get rosie, but drive duty doesnt take long with that big blade. Last year we had drifts that hid our oldsmobile, and 45 minutes was all it took, then I was off to the neighbors. It is nice to move the banks back with a blower once in a while, when we get a calm day.
Larry has a lot more drive than me, and more snow too...or at least it sticks longer. We get a thaw every couple weeks and are insulated by Lake Michigan. |

I'm on a hilltop and its very windy here. I frequently come in caked with an inch of snow from head to toe. The worst is my glasses which fogg and ice up. The trick is to get it done so fast you dont have time to get cold, then finnish up when the weather clears. To the end of getting it done fast, Bills 7790 might give my 74 Sovereign a run for the money, but my Sovereign 18 V-twin Hydro's CH-18 wouldn't
I have also had my own business here since 91, so I have free reign over when I actually do it. If I sit here 3 days snowed in before digging out - no biggie.
Of course I plan on doing during storm work with the B210 with cab.
But what I really like is when I get lined up with the wind and all the snow ends up at the neighbors! |

Lucky is right! My Michigan Girl barely has a fleeting interest in the outdoor chore list...I'm working on her though. =] I enjoy my seat time when it comes to tractors, and try to find a way to do all my chores with a GT. However, it is nice from time to time to sip something that warms the throat while relaxing and watching her work the machine....now if only I could get her to pick up dog doo. |
