Here's a few ship labels that are still on my Brush and Log Saw, from Simplicity to the Dealer on the East Coast...

Buck saw assembly box label

Ship label on the 20" blade

Tag still on the log cradle assembly. I'm guessing this was shipped without a box

And here's the same dealer info stamped in ink on the Wonderboy 36" dozer kit I just shipped off to WI.

I purchased these from the dealer's son ('Larry's' of Neshanic, NJ).

This one is on both sides of the hood near the front of a 727 Broadmoor I have. Now here it is in west central Illinois, wonder how it got here?

Here's the one off my Yeoman. This came to me out of Ft Wayne, IN, so not too far from it's original home.

Montpelier is home to several Simplicity/AC enthusiasts I have met or talked with. The Craigslist listings down there are abundant!

Montpelier is only 15-20 miles from my house. My wife has a customer from there who once told me that Montpelier is the home of the FBI...

There is something I find quite interesting about seeing these old dealer labels. I have bought cars before that I had the dealer take their dealer tag or sticker off the car before I left with it. I don't like being forced to advertise for someone. But, I sure wish my 3012 Sovereign had a dealer tag on it. The tractor was bought new in NY, somewhere. The owner moved here and eventually traded the tractor to a small engine mechanic for a newer lawn mower. One year later I got the tractor with a 48" deck, Moldboard plow, disc, a grader blade frame, and some odd parts. Gee I wish that dealer tag was there.

Richard I guess that Chevy Vega was so ubiquitous no one ever thought that someday someone would be interested in tracing its history.

Hartford City is about the same distance from me as Montpelier. They are only 6-8 miles apart as the crow flies. Portland is a little farther, maybe 45 minutes
