I monkeyed around with Photobucket, my phone (camera) etc. and the easiest way to get smaller pics for easy loading was to simply upload smaller versions from my computer, and stick them in a new thread.

Man, you didn't miss a single nut or bolt! Looks to have ALL new decals as OE too. VERY nice work! Hats off! |

Thanks! There are a few finishing touches I need to make to be 'done' with the tractor itself.
I have to clean up my hood bolts, install my lights, install my steering wheel cap, and I'm missing 2 decals...steering wheel and one engine shroud decal. THEN, I'm calling it done. Those are little things, and right now my focus will be on getting the loader pump and lift cylinders squared away for installation. So close! |

Wow, Super. I'm impressed! I have never seen a steering wheel cap, didn't know there was supposed to be one, how come you are using a LT batteery? and is that rear light with switch original? Those thrust bearings on the spindles work well, maybe you'll be able to steer it with a full bucket! I'd like to put a loader on this, getting REAL spoiled by it.

The battery is what the PO left in it, and it works well so I'm not running to the store anytime soon (I hope). A similar bat. is in my B110 and I have no idea how old it is. It was in te tractor when I took ownership in the summer of 2007 and still never misses a beat, even in winter. What battery do you use?
The steering rocks...with the triribs, thrust bearings and no slop. It's one-finger on the wheel, all the time. I love how sharp the old FDT's turn...sharper even than my B110.
The steering wheel caps were chromed like the steering column and arm rest brackets (Mine are not...no chrome shop around here anymore). The cap for the round steering wheel tractors is smaller than the wheel type on the Big Ten, and the one I picked up from Joe's is the only one I've seen. Both my B110's have the cap...the new tractor actually was missing it, and the guy dug it out of a cupholder in his truck before I left! =] |

I use Exide 51R's in all my large frames, they're a little pricey but they'll crank a 16hp half of forever, even when the tractors been out overnight at 20 below. And they are the same form-factor as the original.

I have a 51R in my 7016 and 2110, but my pretty much fun only Landlord 101 uses a LT battery.... |

The Big Ten was rope start before the rebuild....a second pull was rare even after sitting for a week in March. Helped make my decision to restore! |

Heres the caps I was talking about. The one on the left is for the older style wheel, and the one in the middle is for the B100-200 series round wheels.
The one on the right usually shows up duting installation. =] |
