Picked up another Early B-10 today for $360. Has complete tiller PTO, original tires i believe, has wrong engine, a Briggs 8 HP, was told it runs but needs carb work, and of course a battery. Other than it having the wrong engine I am very pleased

Man, that hood looks like it was flat from the factory... Nah, it's just the picture angles, I see how it is.

I'm with you Ron. When I was up in PA I found myself looking back into the shadows of every barn door and behind every pump house I passed. Could hardly appreciate Gettysburg for thinking about all those AC's lurking, waiting to be rescued. Drove 3300 miles and saw nare a one. The day after I got home I found Bugsy waiting just 7 miles from home in the heart of downtown.
Wish it had been a round top with straight 3 speed.

Just kidding, Bugsy

Great find! I always did like the hood decals better on theearly B10's.

You guys buying up every remaining early model is saving me a lot of money! I have a barn full of tractors (literally) in need of some kind of repair and saving, so that is OK. Just wish I could find some more attachments though.

Glad to see they are getting saved from the chopping block!

Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to working on this one. I did realize one thing, the tractor is complete, has all panels and belt guards for example. Also the serial number is lower than my other B-10.

Does anyone know if the Early B-10's were only made in 1964, or did they start making them in late 1963 perhaps?? Thanks

Wes

Yeah, not many in PA from what I see. There are some Simplicity's around though.

I would say you should be pleased. The tiller pto can bring $150 easily. Never understood why that was the basic starting price until a good friend bought one last summer with a tiller and no pulleys. A tiller is positively worthless without a way to drive it. Don't understand how the two get parted. Having the side shields and pulley guards is worth alot for sure.
