Just looked awful shiny for cold roll, but then none of the steel I buy is fresh.

Looks like some fine work. I have no need for a tool box on my tractors. But,,,, make up a couple pair of B-112 grille trim in shiny stainless, then I might let go of a bit of green!

i would put one on ebay to see what you can get for them. i know you said one went for $200 but that was an origanal allis box. remades can bring 1/2 to 3/4 that i would think, go for it. i'am sure mine is already in the mail for x-mas l.o.l geeeez i miss working in the shop, no fare

Nice work! I too think you should put a few on ebay. Do a limited production run and see what you get. Probably not worth the time, but only you can figure that.

would you mount that box with 1/4" spacers to keep the hinge off the seat frame?

The pictures I seen on the "other" site it looks to me the hinge is formed so as to clear the back of the tool box. It looks to me the the knuckles of the hinge are flush with the back. Great looking tool box.
