thanks chris, its been repowered by a 8hp briggs. the plow has good shoes on it. its a pull start, it was -1 last n ite here and +5 this morning. i got home late last nite with it and did not feel like unloading it. so did that this morning, 2 pulls and it started right up. it ugly but cute to. my son link will love to help me clear the driveways now when it snows.

oh yea i got the mower deck with it to, and it works and it has the factory safty chute on it.

I like it...i have never found one with a chute, its always missing. Do all the little ones have a right hand lift, or is that more frosting on the cake?

I like the little ones also, have a early Broadmoor and a 616. They are very useful and take up very little space.

That's all I seem to run into, big hydros with electric or hydraulic lifts. I'm looking for 7 or 8 horse hydros, VERY few companies made them. Massey MF-7 and 8, Wheel Horse Charger 7 and 8, Allis/Simplicity 6108/611 4208/4211 pretty sure one of these was a hydro 8 horse, and the Montgomery Wards Garden Mark 8hp hydro
