Yesterday in my search for engine ID numbers I made the engine look kind of crappy. Well, cant have that, so got out the paint....
One of things that bugs me on many of the jobs I see is the missing or painted over decals/stickers.

I've done computer graphics for 15 years now to pay for my "Non-Paying" work so this was a simple little job with some card stock, vinyl laminate, and 2 sided tape. I think it will take the heat here OK but if it gets to wet it will probably de-laminate. I see a 12 volt coil in this position in the not to distant future anyway.

But what I really like at the moment is the update I'm about to do on the E3 post

You know, when you scraped off the original sticker, I thought the same thing you did... Now my engine looks like crap....
Good job Larry... :)

While I had everything out, I figured I might as well make a new oil warning sticker too. Took just 20 minutes to make 2 of them.

Very nice, Larry. The decal set rarely includes these smaller engine and deck decals, I'll be checking back and seeing what you got for sale, Thanks for posting these pics

Thanks, I'm going to be looking for a "Guinnia Pig" to test some on. probably for a sovereign deck. I need pictures and sizes for that, though, my deck only has the belt routing sticker left.

I had a stencil to paint "3416H" on the back of the seat deck. the last time I used it didn't work so well. The first sticker is just to cover it up. The safety and ID sticker in front of the seat have been ratty for long, long time. If I have time tomorrow and the weather cooperates, they are going tomorrow. The ID tag is available from clickitandstickit.com for $5.00 + S&H, but I've never found the safety sticker.

Nice job on the decals Larry!

I'm thinking you should start a business making them!

I'd also be interested in decals for the deck on my 7010 I can take pictures and get dimensions from the ones that are already on it for you.

These definitively aren't the best examples to use but I figured I'd try.
This is 4 3/8" by 1 3/8"

This is 5 7/8" by 2 7/8" and there is two of them one on each side of the deck.

This decal is really bad so hopefully someone has a picture of a good one but anyways its 6" by 1 5/8. It should say at the top WARNING DO NOT OPERATE MOWER WITHOUT DEFLECTOR OR VACUUM COLLECTOR IN PLACE.

If you search for tractor decals on the web and on ebay you'll find a big difference in prices. I've seen Maple-hunter decals at better prices as well as some on ebay, but it's real hard to find a complete set for the tractor and mower or atachments

I just ordered the side hood decals from clickitandsticket.com for $36.75 total. I can't make anything longer than 17". I will of course post some pics of the freshly painted hood with them. I found his eBay store several weeks ago, and he just finnished matching the picture/specs I sent him. :)
