Cute helper. I like those wide AG tires on the front, I have skinny AG tires on my 2110. |

The fronts are GoodYears in the stock size.I bought some Hi-Runs from TSC in 23x10.50 for the rear. They are a twin to Carlisle Super Lugs. |

I'm really not a fan of the 23x10.50-12. I think they look wrong, you don't see tractors running extra wide bar lug/flotation tires, they're taller and thinner, so they actually work. |

These tractor's look good with the wide rear tires. The round hoods on the other hand look better with the skinny ones. |

It;s not so much the width as the height, I'll post pics of some 26x12-12, they look ten times better than 23x10.50's, even the 24x12's are better. The Massey has 26x12-12's and the Ariens has 23x10.50-12's. I just think the taller wide tires better than the shorter, if your going 23 height, I like 8.50 width. Doesn't really matter if your not running a 10 inch rims, the 8.50's once mounted on 8 inch wide rims will be less than a inch narrower than the 10.50's, look more balanced, and be a heck of lot cheaper, but your mileage may vary

The taller tire also will raise your gear ratio.More speed=less torque. |

It might at that, but the difference is insignificant, in comparison to the better traction A wide tire tends to float whereas a skinnier tire tends to dig in, ask a farmer. The 23x10.50-12 and the 16x6.50-8 are wide high flotation turf tires, when you translate it to a AG tire you get a wide high flotation AG tire, While it may look good in the same way those new low profile tires look on ma brothas Escalade, they aren't very functional. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, just saying if you think your going to plow with these and do as good as narrow front tri-ribs and 8.50's or 26 inch tall tires you might be mistaken. Besides the 8.50's aren't any taller. My point is not to dissuade you from using what you want, just to inform you that these tires will have more to do with looks than with performance in the field. Finally, I'll tell you that 23x10.50-12's look GREAT on some tractors, not so much on others, has to do with the size and shape of the tractor. My Ariens is a big tractor, they don't look so hot on it, almost like those little fat tires that stuck way out the Latinos used on their Honda's a few years back. I actually think they would look good on the Allis/Simplicity machines, because they are a smaller tractor in dimension, they dont look good on a Cub Cadet 782 either, again a large tractor. |

I hope nobody's taking me the wrong way, I also like the looks of the wide AG tires, it's just that they really aren't very functional, mainly for show, and that's okay too |
