Had the computor on last Sat. night on Craiglook. Dialed up Allis Chalmers. Metro Detroit list had an ad for two Allis tractors. A B1 complete with deck and snow blade; and an early B10 with deck and snow blade.Called him Sunday morning and made a deal. Went to Romulus on Sun. afternoon and picked up a complete B1 with the correct bolt together mower deck and a like new snow blade; And a complete except for left hand trim panel , early B10 with deck, snow blade and tire chains for the princely sum of $500. At the border I told the customs agent the value and she didn't charge me duty or tax. Then tonight (thurs.) at the local auction I picked up a NOS never been on a tractor Brinly 10in. plow, used Brinly toolbar cultivator and a J.D. sleeve hitch for $80. Been a very good week so far.

Like I said before, "there must be an old Allis hidden in or behind every shed in that neck of the woods"

I'm 90 miles from Detroit and my wife constantly reminds me we have four IN OUR GARAGE. It's summer now, the cars don't need to be in there now anyhow, right?

Phil. She who must be obeyed. Ron. Wife has her own garage attached to the house and pretty much stays out of my 30X60 shop. All the junk in there is mine except for her little fibreglass travel trailer. Dave

Wow, that is the footprint of my house. there needs to be a special tax on that so that the shop space challenged like my self can have a little slice of the pie.
