well, Duval there are a number of Sovereign models and not every tiller will fit ever model. The 3414 is essentially the same as the Sovereign and Landlord models in the 3400 series and also the 7000 series Simplicity and 700 series AC. Simplicity really muddies the waters with all these feudal titles. If it will fit any of those it will fit yours with the addition of the lift mechanism which is/was missing from your tractor. If the tiller fits any of the earlier Sovereigns it will take some serious mods to work. Be sure what ever you do you get the Mule drive assembly as well.

One of the pulleys looks like it will need to be switched out because it's small. Otherwise, it looks in very good shape.

Looks like a 990694 or 1690039 that should work fine. Like B112 said you will need to change out the pulley. If it is 990694 it is hard to tell if all the clutch mechanism is there. Wonder what the PO was trying to achieve with that setup. Maybe he was using it as a flail mower.

No kidding! That is one small pulley, can't imagine how bad things would go if I used that setup around my place (rocks are common). Talk about a sudden stop.

well they certainly would fly on your tractor. Could have been used in a different application. You may want to ask someone with that model what the diameter should be.
