Well, got the 3112V up and running a few days ago with a 16 horse I got on ebay. I'll run it around for a bit then pull it apart for a repaint. Seems like a sweet one and I really like the hydro lift.

And here is the very rare factory tool box. I doubt any of you have ever seen one, it's that rare. If anyone wants to make me a offer I may let it go. I'll even sand blast it and repaint it the right color.

That should make for one nice tractor! 16hp, variable speed, and hydrolift, I would be in love myself.

How fast are those hydro lifts? Just wondering.. plowing today, I would ram the tractor into the pile of snow and very quickly lift (using the armstrong lift) the blade right before I hit the snowbank and let the inertia of the tractor go as far as it could, my hands off the steering wheel.

Just curious if the hydro operates quick enough to do that. I would love one (left arm is kinda sore, as you may imagine) but I do like the simplicity (pun intended) of the manual lift.

Glad it's running and usable.

You need to show a pic of the 'factory' tool box.

Storm didn't mention, it was to have been his wife's tractor ...... yeah, right. It's for sure she would look a lot better on it than him. If it does become 'her' tractor, I should get a big hug (from her, not you) out of the deal (that wasn't on the receipt, but hey, it is worth a shot).

B.R.

(Edited to clarify who the hug would come from)

The hydro lifts work good with a blade,, up and down,,,, but the only problem is "Float",, it doesn't work as quick as one would like. The secret there,, is chain lift rather than the solid bar, with no counter balance weights... just MHO.

I'm sorry, but I just can't let that happen. I told her thats like taking a 62' SS 409 Impala and making a low rider out of it.....I just puked a little in my mouth typing that....

Well, storm how about the 75th anniversary special? I think it is blue but it looks like deep purple. It is not totally distastful and that's coming from a guy who bleeds orange.
