Picked the loader up in mid November at a swap meet for $300. Pump and reservoir are stashed in the bucket.

Picked the B-10 up over Thanksgiving weekend.

Great find! I see how the towers will mount to a subframe, but can't figure how the loader mounts to the front of the tractor. Looking forward to seeing more of your project.

If it's as solid as it looks that loader was a steal! Well done. That B-10 is sure a clean original machine.

I believe I can build a sub frame that will interchange with the B & 300/400 series tractors. The pump and reservoir is going to be the biggest challenge as far as interchangeability. So, I may have to dedicate it to one tractor. Any thoughts on which rear end is best for using a loader. I have a Shuttle, Variable, Three Speed or Hydrostatic to choose from.

I know it takes 3 or 4 hands to operate even with a hydro, so maybe something with a pedal you can use a foot with, 3 speed or something. Still need to grow more appendages.

I think shuttle or hydro. I use a shuttle with the johnny bucket and find that it works very well.

Mack, I suggest you make two subframes, one for your B10 and the other for your 300/400's so that you can just move you're loader between the tractors leaving the subframe on each tractor. I can remove my L112 loader with four bolts and just remove the belt. It comes off fairly fast. I made three exact subframes when I made mine. I was going to sell the third to help cover the fabrication costs. I only had one bite and I've not advertised it since. My subframe would not fit your loader, you'll need to fabricate something for that loader.

Dedicate it to a hydro, then change the hydro to foot control. You'd not regret doing it, as the foot control is awesome with a FEL!
Also, I really like the auto-level system on these loaders like yours. Yes, you did steal this thing. Lift cylinder shafts pitted? Even if you had to get new cylinders or replace shafts in these, it's a great find!

I've got that same loader on a Sears 12hp. Daniel nailed it...the aoto-levelling feature is sweet! You'll love it, regarless of which unit you put it on. Wish I could find another!

Daniel is very much correct about the foot controlled Hydro. Once you have one you will never go back. I have my loader on a Kubota G4200 with the foot control and I'm sure it makes using the loader %50 faster and easier.
It's worth the time to do.
