Is that the little 2cyl water cooled gas? If so I saw one once in NC. Do you have photos?

no..its just a small grass cutting tractor with a ten horse single...didn't take pictures before I stored it away for the winter but it look like this one on the web

I didnt even check it out much before storing it...I was surprised at the smoke and called the guy back to see if maybe he put mixed gas in by mistake and he says that is possible so Im holding off till spring to check it out good

I really like the heavy duty car style clutches with pressure plates that it has for the trans and implement....the engine is mounted like allis big ten with the pto shaft facing the front and the trans driven from a driveshaft off the flywheel side

winter seems to be receeding so Ive started poking around and it does appear that the Previous owner dumped some mixed gas in it...it looks like a definate bluish-green tint...I did buy rings but am hoping that draining the tank and re filling with new gas takes care of the smoke before fixing anything else

The folks that had the Honda I looked at said the water pump went out and it was obscenely expensive to replace. It was not there when I returned this year. He said it was a good rig but they just wore in out cutting grass a mile above sea level. One of their lawns stretches 1/4 mile with a 300 ft change in elevation.

I found a complete bagger system for it ...brand new never even used for $100

my wheeler dealer brain kicked in tho and even though I think $100 is totally worth it I still made a lower offer and am waiting for a reply

Im still not sure if the smoke was because of the gas but I removed some from the tractor and poured it into my 2 stroke genereator and it seemed to smoke more than normal so there was definitely a better than 50:1 oil mix in that tractor

should be a week or two before I get around to spending more time on it

siphoned out most of the gas and used the on board electric pump to completely empty the fuel tank then refilled with clean fresh fuel and it still smokes like crazy...now Im thinking the P.O. put mixed gas in to trick buyers
