I think it should be noted that it is a good idea to keep the picture widths no more than 800 pix.
The reason I say this is that wider pictures make it impossible for some to see the whole image
without scrolling horizontally and it makes all the text on the thread s t r e t c h out to match the picture making it impossible to read without scrolling both up/down and across. This of course is not a rule but sure makes the thread more enjoyable and the pictures more interesting... and less likely to cause motion sickness.

Just my two cents worth.
