Well....As Michael and a few others will probably mention, it's been a long time since I've posted in here. So long in fact, that there are quite a few more additions to the fleet, along with additional implements and attachments, so I thought I would post some and give credit where credit is due.

First up is the most recent acquisition which came by way of a lead given to me by Ron aka BiggieRat a couple weeks ago. It's a well loved Big Ten that came with a rear stinger, doughnut, 42 inch dozer/plow and a newer 42 inch deck. Can't thank you enough for that lead Ron. I braved the nasty weather and came out victorious at the auction with this...

Then, again I must thank Ron. The next in the list was a trek to Western Indiana to a place where dreams are made of. Ron called me about this find because it didn't involve the tractor styles he prefers to buy. This worked out fantastic for me, as everything this individual had was vintage. I came home VERY satisfied with a 1961-62 Monkey Wards Garden Mark Squire, a 990210 style Sickle Bar mower, a NIB Rear light assembly, NOS Landlord bucket style seat pan, a Carry All box, a near new leaf vac assembly with a LOT of shelf dust on it and albeit tiny, a NOS Starter push button. The Squire was repowered by the PO and he had the foresight to hack up a 725 hood and put the Squire hood on a shelf for safe keeping. Here are just the highlight pictures on that haul.

Then there were two tractors within three weeks that I won on eBay and ironically enough....they both sold for the exact same amount. Just $100.56. The first was an early B-10 that had sat for over 20 years in a gentlemans barn...it's now my prefered mowing tractor because of it's B-12 seat.....While I was there I also got a hydro lift and an excellent metal gas tank.

Then this little jewel, which came with a 32 inch deck. It's a 450 Joy Stick Wonder-Boy. With that same trip I also purchased a B-1, a set of rear wheel weights and a 10inch mouldboard plow. On another auction from the same seller I also got a Right Hand Lift Lever.

I know this post is getting long so I'll close for now and continue the update which includes another B-10, tiller, hi-lo unit, another Wonder-Boy and additional items that have been acquired just this year.

I might add....I spent less on this years hauls combined than some have spent on accessorizing their new tractors with heaters and stuff like that.

Thanks Michael and Roy. That carry all box has already become my favorite attachment. I've straitened out the dents here and there and re-shaped the tail gate to fit properly and now it's used for taking the trash to the curb, picking up fallen twigs and branches and carting them to the burn pile, gathering wood for the shop and house stoves, carting around yard tools etc. I did find that it's necessary to put the counter weight on the front of the old Squire though, but with the B-10s and Landlords it's not necessary. I attribute that to the lack of built in weight under the front end of the Squire. Thanks again for the welcome back!

Well.....the saga continues! More finds compliments of leads from Ron. I won't sicken any one with the out of pocket on this haul, but I will say that the gas to drive the 4 hour round trip was more than the out of pocket for a running 3416H, 310 Delux that happened to have a gold series Briggs 8hp cast iron re-power that is now in my Squire, two mounted 23x10.5x12 Ags, a near mint B-1 grill assy complete with emblem and hood, and a 990210 sickle bar mower.

Then another tip from Ron yielded a 1966 2010 in running condition with a 46 inch spring trip angle from the seat blade and a 12 inch Brinly plow to which I was able to mount to a tractor compliments of another find from Ron (The plow to tractor hitch), and three sets of snow chains. The prices here were also VERY good...almost stole the lot.

If not for Ron, my Fleet and attachments would literally only be half what it is today. Just thought I would add this little update so I wouldn't forget later on to thank Ron again and keep up with my topic.

This last pic is of the fleet today. The B-210 is Badmoons, the rest are my babies...not pictured are the two Wonder-Boys which have been sadly neglected and patiently waiting their turn.

Stacks with turn-outs do ok getting the exhaust away from ya, but stacks with rain-flippers will choke you to death!

Stacks look cool but prevent driving beneath low hanging limbs and bushes. Thus, I have avoided them.

Thanks for all the compliments and replies guys!

Joe...Just keeping an "eye" on the "other place"

The stacks don't get into any branches here on my property mainly because I have a bad back and neck, so all the branches are trimmed high enough so I don't have to duck them. The rain caps sound great at idle as they clank clank their old school tunes, but I stumbled on the turn outs from asking my local muffler shop to make me a couple to "try out." Then, after installing them, I was SOLD!! A. they DO keep the exhaust away from you and B. They actually quiet down the stack mufflers even more. The Chrome stacks came from different sources. Two are from Harley take offs and the one with the turn out at the top was purchased from the Portland Tractor show. The Squire has a Screaming Eagle pipe with a Briggs muffler tucked into it. Ugly-Alice has a Screaming Eaglee pipe with it's original steel pack and diffuser in place. Ugly-Alice has a low tone that resembles a Hueys drone. Kinda cool sounding. The Squires pipe is quiet as is the B-10s F-01 Ford pipe. The other pipes are Allis pipes made by Stanley. All are securely braced to the block via two head bolts and galvanized 1/8 x 1 inch flat stock and clamped with regular muffler clamps and using standard 1" NPT fittings. Another advantage to the stacks is that they are a great indicator to me that I need to get the trimming saw out.

The neighbors never know what to expect to come rolling out of the shop from one minute to the next, but it is getting cramped in there. May be time to thin the herd a little. Two will become my creature B-18 (or B-20, B-32.) I haven't decided which rout I'm going to go on that project yet. Then I have a couple more that I'm ready to move down the road to their next happy home. This will give way to more room for who knows what...lol. My projects take longer to do now days, which isn't entirely a bad thing. Going slower allows me to see potential problems sooner.

Again, thanks for the comments!

Thanks Dan,,,makes sense>

Sean, after,,,,,,,hmmmm,,,I think 10 years,,,,of pretty much "more of the same",,,,I don't need to keep an eye on them.
GOD, I still miss ol Dutch!!!!!! He was another Biggie story from a while back.

Well, stacks or not,,,you STILL have a very impressive line up.
I'd be happy to just get one of my 2 going and useable.

But this week I got to get the Wheel Horse started and running. It's OLD, it's REALLY chopped,,,,but by golly it's a reliable butt buggy for me, and pulls the trailer just fine and dandy!!

PLUS,,,if I get a pic of it, I think I can post it here without ridicule.

Not a bad looking butt buggy there Joe! Ain't a thing wrong with a Wheel Horse, except the deck of course. Even the most devout of them guys will tell you that!

Sean, I was wondering if some of those chromeys were off bikes, guess those things are good for more than just emergency room visits after all.
