I broke down a bought a new battery for my Kubota yesterday. The only thing I could find that would fit (and fit it does) is a U1 series battery. I chose the most powerful one I could find in that series U1L but it only has 300 CCA. It certainly seems to crank better but I find it to be only marginal for that diesel, IMO.
