just picked up a model 728 serial or model 765-004284 on tag can't find a wiring diagram anywhere has the 8hp briggs without a stater gen just electric start. any help Thanks Ken

Thanks was afraid of that wiring is not my strong point, tractor does run just have to jump straight to the starter

Well, to my understanding the model 728 was never made with a gear driven starter, so wou are not going to be able to find a wiring diagram specific to that engine in that machine. You will have to use the wiring diagram from a later model and adapt to your tractor.
