That's all I seem to run into, big hydros with electric or hydraulic lifts. I'm looking for 7 or 8 horse hydros, VERY few companies made them. Massey MF-7 and 8, Wheel Horse Charger 7 and 8, Allis/Simplicity 6108/611 4208/4211 pretty sure one of these was a hydro 8 horse, and the Montgomery Wards Garden Mark 8hp hydro

I like the little ones too, vertical or horizontal, but I only collect hydros, of any model.

That sure was a nice early Christmas gift! Good deal.

I like the little ones also, have a early Broadmoor and a 616. They are very useful and take up very little space.

I like it...i have never found one with a chute, its always missing. Do all the little ones have a right hand lift, or is that more frosting on the cake?
freddie Posted - 12/06/2010 : 12:07:40
oh yea i got the mower deck with it to, and it works and it has the factory safty chute on it.

Ha! Heck yeah...again, wishing for that deal. I like the lil' ones, but cant justify buying one. Now, if I could steal one, like you did, I wouldnt think twice.

thanks chris, its been repowered by a 8hp briggs. the plow has good shoes on it. its a pull start, it was -1 last n ite here and +5 this morning. i got home late last nite with it and did not feel like unloading it. so did that this morning, 2 pulls and it started right up. it ugly but cute to. my son link will love to help me clear the driveways now when it snows.
