Posted - 09/10/2007 : 22:24:12 I have been thinking of an IR thermometer to check my Briggs motor for hot spots and see how engine RPM under workloads effects the temperature of the motor. |

Posted - 08/30/2007 : 07:36:37 Right now, it's been just the ear. Though I bought one of the $59 seven function Craftsmen meters and hope to outline some diagnostic techniques using it. I also bought the infrared thermometer from Craftsmen and I've been reading my boat's engine/exhaust tempuratures with that. Might be interesting what we get on the old Simplicity/AC Tractors. |
