Found this clean 1 owner B10 and cultivator on clist this last weekend. 6 hour drive round trip but i didnt have this attachment yet.
Also, on a side note: will a rear pto drive fit an hb112?

Sure is clean! Don't find many that nice. A keeper, for sure!
That's my favorite style cultivator for use in the garden...it doesn't push sideways when the tractor turns, and is more forgiving, taking less roots up if you let the steering wheel slip.
The PTO will work fine on the HB, but your drive belt will need to be longer.

| that is a very very nice 1963 B10 early you have there. 42in deck is also very nice. i have found plenty of 63 allis b10's but yet to find a complete 64 allis. if i could ask ya to take another closer pic of the hood pin i could conform the year a 1963. |

My only '63 is a B-1. The model 19 in it is late too...September, I think? That B-10 should be a '64...the only model year they offered them. Id' be curious to know the date on it. My '64 LL's all have 23D Briggs dated '64, and my Big Ten has a Briggs dated late '65.
Interestingly, this EB10 was on ebay this week. Opening bid was $800 and it took right off. It is in almost unbelieveable, original conidition. The auction ended early, and when I asked the seller why, he said someone gave him $2000 for it locally. It had a $1600 buy-it-now that went unclaimed, so i suppose it's likely he got more than that. Wow...

| i was not a round when these was tractors was born, so i don't have all the facts. I do know what i have seen and was told. my dads B10 early was bought new in 1963. my b1 was bought in 62 so said the old man i bought it from, and the dealer that we would get our parts still had had a few still in the crate under lock. they sold the simplicity's in 59 said they was given a 61 b1 with pull start and oil bath air cleaner, to display for the up coming Allis Chalmers garden tractors for sale in his AC dealership. the hood pins are the quickest way to see if its a 63 or 64 the 64 has a thumb pin threw them. while the 63 don't. but like i said i was not there. good luck to you on your new tractor no matter what year you want to use. :) |
