Going south in a little over four weeks now. I always go to at least 4 tractor and engine shows while I am down there. Travelling light this year so my show transportation will be a walk behind and sulky. Only one problem. I don't have a dedicated sulky for my walkers. So my project today was to start building one to do the job.Dug out a set of wheels and a bunch of used steel I had sitting in my "might need it pile" and went to work. This is as far as I got today...Dave

Looks like to much work for one day for us old guys.

Nice project. You will have to show us some "in Use Photos" so we can see it working.

I am shocked you don't have a sulky! I guess you will have soon. A walk behind with a ride on attachment is a handy and attention getting ride.

We are also gearing up for Florida. No tractors are coming along but getting the RV ready is enough to keep Me busy

Phil; where are you going and when? Don't know if you are down there when any shows are on. Are grandkids involved or just you and Jann?....Dave

Rich; I have a sulky I use behind a tractor at shows when the Mrs. comes with me and two walk behind sulky dump carts and a roller but they take up too much space on this trip....Dave

we are going to Orlando for a week ending on Valentines day. (our 40th Anniversary) My wife is getting to visit Walt Disney World and I get to spend a week in the RV. That is the trade off. Not sure how much I am going to be able to do as I have had a flare up of my Plantars Fasciitis. I have been trying to recover from it since late October but one day it's tolerable, then the next it is excruciating.

Davd, You taking your self-contained or pulling that cute little mini trailer?

Ah, "Little House on the Prairie Trailer". If it were just me I'd get one of those and tow it behind a sedan. 24" Class C is about as spartan as I can get Jann to go nowadays. I do remember a time when our family of six "camped" in an Apache popup. That thing weighed twice what your Trillium does.

Enjoy the sunshine state you two. I so jealous of you! My wife and I spent a little time this past April in The Villages south of Ocala. I have always been a huge fan of snowbirding and I am happy to say that she fell in love with the place. So, the 13 year countdown has begun!

Phil, if you can swing the trip to the show, you won't regret it. Dave & Min are great people, and I'm sure the show is a good one as well.

I met Dave and his wife in TN at GOTO a well as with Roy Pope and Brenda Krauss. If I am not mistaken Dave and Company dont arrive in Florida till after we leave. Besides My part of the trip is to suffer along with Jann as we walk all over Hells Half Acre. I could travel down there on one of our off days....it would be only about 3-4 hour ride on my scooter.
