Brief History This will explain a brief history. This will overview the history of the large frame B-Series from 1959-1970 with the coresponding Simplicity machines showing the differences within the years.
The 1959 Wonderboy 700 mfg# 990169 was the first year Simplicity offered riding tractor. Prior to the 700, Simplicity offered a walking tractor and riding mower; the creation of the 700 merged these two machines. The Wonderboy 700 had the power take-off points of the walking tractor and the ability of the operator to actually ride the machine. Most of the attachments for the first 700 machine were actually adapted from the prior years of walking tractors.
