I honestly thing your place is benefiting from all ht orange hardware. Your lawn looks great! When do you find time to even move all of them to mow much less work with/on them.

Honestly, these tractors are a solid part time job. It took over an hour to move these 12 from one side to the other

My lawn hasn't had anything but Simplicity tractors on it for 21 years this August, And I BELEIVE that long term mowing with a heavy deck with full width rollers improves the lawn all by its self.

And I have always been Obsessive on keeping my lawn neat. I also have a Stihl FS-74 commercial string trimmer (new in 91!!!) that I would be lost without, and an MTD 21" Mower that I hardly use. I have been
"tuning" my lawn for a 48" mower for two decades and I have it down to a science

As for my lawn, the weather has been just about perfect here for things that grow, and it shows.

Yeah...it would be fun, but it would be a full time job for me. I need to make time for oil changes, but the lack of grass to mow is allowing me to wait until it cools off. It will still take an entire evening =[

LOL, I would worry, BUT: every LAST one of these is not just a lttle better than when they joined, but a LOT BETTER!

I haven't any evidence of dis-content. No scalping or red "spotting" from the hydros at all.

If you look at the lawn, those scalp free stripes were clearly made by a contented machine. :)

I have to concur with that. I know that when we bought our B1 in 1962 we cut our field that was once cultivated and full of broom grass. The first cutting was tough and subsequent cutting every week was a bone jarring experience. After about 3 seasons of cutting the field was smooth and level and was the lawn of choice for the neighborhood football an baseball games.

Lineup looks great Larry. I wish my lawn was half as green as yours. We are almost totally brown around here. Do you have any AC's left or are they all Simplicity's?

I still have a B-210 hydrolift, nice runner/worker, and I have a nice Allis built 312 and B-207E which both need batteries and minor tinkering, and a basket case B-110

And I have a pait of Allis built Homelite T-16's. One hydro, one shuttle

Looks like my winter lawn. I've heard of Kentucky blue grass but not brown...

HA!

You want to see brown, just wait. Most of my lawn is perrenial rye grass. Very nice in the summer but dies at the end of October and is a dead brown from the end of November through the middle of April when it regrows from the roots.

Of course the ground here is usually snow covered from some time in November through the end of March. So it doesn't really matter.

Funny perineal rye grows here during what we call winter. But is not at all perineal.

It's dormant in the winter and it's dormant in the summer. I been working in Southern Wisconsin this summer and it's dry here. I think the whole mid west is dry.
