This is my 1972 Simplicity 728. I got it for free 4 years ago with a brand new B&S 8hp I/C shortblock.

Here is a list of what I have done too it.

1. New back tires
2. Tri-rib front tires
3. Converted to rope start
4. New front wheel bushings
5. "Flathead Power" sticker.

Attachments I have are the 36" mower, and the 40" grader blade

I like it! I would love the mid mount grader blade for the small tractors, but those usually sell for more than I paid for any of the tractors I have!!! Looks sharp!

Very nice looking machine! Yeah, that's a steal on that grader too. They are handy, and get their weight in gold sometimes =]

When I originaly put in my garden, I wanted to level the ground after it was turned and tilled, to eliminate low spots. I've used a dozer on these tractors all my life, and in that soft dirt, it was a real pain to get anything leveled nicely.

When the garden doubled in size, I then had a grader and a boxblade. I used them in unison, and leveled everything PERFECTLY in two passes. I was floored. Those graders are purpose built and simply work so nice!

The area in the horse pasture by barn did not have any drainage and pretty much turned into a swamp when it rained and in the spring during the thaw, so I went to town on it with the blade and moved over 4 trailer loads of dirt and it solved that problem. I also used it to make a track for my 3-wheeler. It just amazes me what these little tanks will do
