So I got the front pto on and because I was antsy I really wanted to see if I could operate the weedcutter. Since I need to wait to figure out a belt size I thought with the different belts I have here maybe one was close so I could start with a rough size. The belt that goes on my daughter's 616 to the mower deck is pretty much perfect!!!! How did I get that lucky? I might need to go to a tad shorter belt, but I mowed down all my paths with it. Way too fun!!
Sorry for the pic quality, maybe I'll take more with the real camera. Was having too much fun to go in and get it. :) I think the 7016 looks downright mean with the AG's and the weedcutter! :)

Phil, there is still some of that material left so I was so antsy to try it I left it. I may over the winter try to get some nice thick leather and cut it to form and cement on as you suggested. It was enough for now....

I may also need to clean up and repaint that cutter to better match the orange of the 7016....or black? :)

You may also be able to find a clutch shop that can affix a new liner.
