Here's a tip: (Just noticed this last night)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220183124555&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=012

While electrical problems are generally easy for me, I can't take on another project right now.

That Power Max went for $886. Not a bad price for a machine which needed electrical work. I believe a non-charging problem means the engine needs to get pulled to change the starter/generator.

The Onan has dedicated starter. The stator for charging is under the flywheel, but RARELY go bad. Likely it's just the voltage regulator or simple wiring prob. This tractor may make someone very happy! Would me as I have two Onan engines looking for something to do. I could sell them, but rather keep them. Never know when an engine-less tractor will come knocking on my door!

Oh well. That would have been an easy pickup for me, only problem is the wife will not stand for another project. If I took it home and had to work on it before using it... I'd not hear the end of it. I need turn key right now. Price is not as much the issue. If I sold and cleared up some spots she wants to reclaim, I'd have a better chance.
