If those are your feet in the picture it looks like one BIG heat shield, the obround hole matches the one for the long hose clamp the old winter carb shields used to clamp it to the muffler, the top dotted line is for the flange that gets bent up and goes under the edge of the hood.
Its a FDT winter carb shield. How thick of materiel are you using? The originals are 18 or 20 gauge and are a little chincy. IMO |

Something like this maybe? I think who ever laid out the sheet metal blank may have missed a couple of corner notches.

yep, heat shield.
larry where in the hell did you get that lay out?
i'am making it out of 18 gage. the real ones wewe out of 22 gage. it does not have to be heavy gage for it to work right, just enough to deflect heat to the carb for the winter. |

It was cschmidt supplied that incredible unfolded layout! The heat sheild on my BIG TEN is holding up fine, cause I'm not using it.... The one on my B210 really vibrates at certain engine RPM's, and I dont think it's going to last much longer. 18 gauge would be better, IMO, still easy to work too, ROB!! LOL |

I would be interested in one. I'll be using the one I bought for snowblowing this year. |
