Well, Im gamblin a bit on this one. PO had 15 tractors in a CL ad, one was a 101. Its 30 mins from the house and the price was right. I asked what else he had and he said 'too many to list'.

Im buying it as a non runner, so my fingers are crossed.

Looks good. I'm sure you'll get it running soon enough.

Well, some good and some bad. She's is a beauty, and there's a few spots that look to have had paint touched up, but most is GREAT. Mechanically, she is tighter than any other I've brought home. BGB, tranny, steering are all near new feeling. Engine turns nice and has plenty of comression from what I can tell by hand. I don't think I'd do a thing to the old girl. I gave it a shot with the garden hose and a broom, and the barn grit is gone...it's PURDY

There is the typical corrosion under the battery and on that RH panel. Those have been painted. The electrical is missing...the battery, ammeter, the starter button, the switch and the voltage regulator. I have spares of all of those. Other than that, just the upper grill is gone...everything else is rust free and straight as an arrow. The hydrolift is free and should work fine under power.

I had a few goodies thrown in just beofre I left. THe guy thought maybe they fit, maybe they didn't, but said I could take them

That's impressive. You should be feeling good about this one.

As long as my poached components give me spark (They should...the parts tractor I stole them from ran), I will be in business. I'm gonna pop the head for good measure and freshen up the oil. A neighbor had an old logplitter that you could back up to with a tractor and run off the PTO. I'd like to see if I could manage to hook that up to this PTO. We cut soooo much wood from storm damage, and it would be great to have a splitter to use.

Never thought of a cement mixer!

WOW!! That's a nice one for sure. That 540 pto is icing on the cake. The deck is for that Broadmoor you haven't bought yet, you're getting closer! Wel done sir, well done.

They did make that 32 inch deck for the FDT's early on, for sure in the 7 & 7.25hp days. It might fight that Landlord.....
