Well, the storm that came through last night dumped 6 inches of rain so fast it flooded parts of the tractor grounds. And guess who was parked in one of the low areas. Yep. No time to drain all the fluids and dry everything out so no driving around for the show! Life is grand...

WOW! I had no idea...we did get a LOT of rain, but WOW. Jon, that's terrible. I can't imagine what that's gotta make you feel like. I'm not sure what your plan is, or what kind of work you have ahead of you, but I was planning on coming out Sunday. Let me know if you need a hand, a wrench buddy, or ANYTHING. .My Saturday is tied up, but Friday nite I could probably make a trip to help too.

Hey! You can try the 101's "stack" as a "snorkel" and I'll bet your the only one anywhere with a "Sea-Weed Cutter" Small consolation. :(

Now, as long as the water wasn't too much higher, are you thinking the engines are dry? An oil change, sure, but did they get more submerged that what we're seeing?

If all you got is some new gear lube into the deal, that sure beats worrying about crank bearings. Man...I'm in shock. What are the freakin odd of THAT! Might have to take some anit-rust measures on the whole deal.

Anybody have some good dry and rust-prevent ideas?

On my phone so i'll make it brief-the broadmoor is running. Checked spark plug-no water. Drained oil and gear lube and no water in either! Two pulls and she started up! Been a long day but on to the next one!

That really looks sad. I'm sorry you had to have that happen. Hopefully no permanent damage was done.

Yikes Jon! That is a major bummer, hope all is well. You weren't staying in one of the tents in the pics were you?

Ok, just got the Yeoman running. Same deal, no water in anything amazingly, except I did have to dry out the airfilter. It had soaked up some water. What a long day. The 2110 I think will be alright, but when I drained the oil in the 101 about a gallon of water came out. I am not going to try and run that one this weekend. But I think I will have the others running. Rich, we weren't staying in the tents last night, but were planning on it this weekend. Obviously our plans have changed... :)

I was guessing you were not there when it rained. Just a terrible site to drive to. Glad to hear some are getting back in shape.
