Well, this will be one to watch! Only 50 miles from me. Was hoping no one else would catch it but looks like it's open season now.

Wow! You just never know what might be behind the barn buried in tall weeds!

Nice spotting Mack Hope someone gets it, restores it and posts pictures! I'd like dimensions and ideas... Never try to do it exact, but it's been engineered.

Wow is right...that's the first I've ever seen listed. I am heading that way this weekend to grab a cultivator... =]

What a shame to see something so rare hanging out and weathering away. It is cool to get a close up look at one though. I had no idea the controlls replaced the lift, etc.

I'm curious about how much it goes for Mack. Can you post back?

It's at $685 right now...it's gonna go really high. I remember that B with rusted through loader that mark had sell a couple months back...what did that go for, mid to high $2K? I wonder how this will compare...I think the tractor is negligible =]

I don't think the owner even knows what he has, did you notice it does not say anything about a forklift!

One heck of a parts tractor for sure...I'm sure they're thrilled. Previous auctions show antique toys, etc.

I tried to get sympathy for buying that. It didn't work! I really have no money for it! 500 miles, I'd figure a way of driving that home. I am still saying to myself it is really only a collectors item, I could use a Heavy Duty Forklift which could lift my boat engine in/out of my boat.

I'm still looking that over to figure out how the forks looked. The unit tilts with a hydraulic piston, the forks lift using the chain and a piston in that tube (some way). Would be handy.

Note: As I look at this we could make one. So where's the reservoir.

This link explains how a forklift works.

Mack, thanks! The inner tube looks like it must have a slot for that pin towards the top. I am assuming those are two square tubes, one inside the other. Probably greased with a roller in the top on that pin. The slot doesn't need to be the length of the inner tube and inside that it must have the piston. You only need the travel to go half the distance to lift the 5.5' of travel. So the piston must have a range of around 2.75' or 33". I guess the reserve fluid is in that pump. Dimensions would be nice :)

I think the front counterweights are missing in the auction pics...I bet thery're not far away. I talked to the gal selling it, and it was part of her late husband's collection. Probably more goodies around that place, Mack!

That is interesting to see that it has a 500# capacity 15" from the mast. I wonder how the axle tube holds up under those loads. It is definitely a single use tractor once the forklift is attached.

Here are some more photos. I asked for a few more. Good luck anyone bidding. If you get this, please post dimensions

Note: The front looks modified to stack gym weights and the rear tines (forks) are not on there. I asked about those. I asked for more pictures of the rear section.
