The bed is off my ranger and with two good friends wire brush and sanded down,, the whole underside is rusty meatl primer, next is a thick coat of black tractor paint, same for the frame in weeks to come

Sometimes weird friends are the best! The fact that there was work to be done and they were not running away shows what kind of friends they truly are! Nice to see you doing your best to preserve the beast, better than the new stuff for sure.

haha the underside will be black dsame with the whole frame, the bed has NO ROT! so the inside of bed i would like to do some do it yourself bed liner.. the rest hopefully primer gray, not sure what color for the truck, aslong as its NOT RED, waiting for a warm day to lay down the rest of the paint!

Tom, on that do it yourself bedliner make sure you lightly sand all the interior bed surface so material will stick properly. I had a shop use a kit on a truck I used to own and they didn't rough up the surface completely. Where it was sanded it stuck very well but where they missed liner material peeled off. Keep posting pics of your project and have fun. B10Dave.
