I walked out the door this morning to a bit of snow on vehicles and the porch. Kept peppering the crap down slowly until about 11, made things kinda wet and chilly. Oh well, better than being at work!
I forgot to take a camera with me, it would have gotten wet anyway. Not a whole lot for lawn and garden, I was both dissapointed and relieved. Dissapointed because I love to look at the stuff, but relieved because if I look I wanna buy! Short tractor funds wouldn't allow much buying. No GT's at all! Good, I really don't need more tractors. Only two attachments, both NOS, neither of which I need. One was a revitalizer (at least I think that's what it's called) looked to be for a late Broadmoor, brought $30, CHEAP! Other was a tiller, heavy looking beast, black in color, hitch was not centered no clue what that one fit, $90, CHEAP! If I don't know what it fits, I sure don't need it!
As for what I did bring home, I snagged some NOS parts and one quality used!
The B-110 side shield is for the left and is used but very nice! The rest is NOS,a roller bar that looks to be just what I needed for the 42" deck I need to repair, the belt is genuine Simplicity variable drive belt for my B-112, and the dash and console are for 700 series.
Oh, and I also got a neat little kit in a box, number 1690392!
There was a plethora of farm tractor used parts today, from B to 7000 series and most in between. A definite smorgasborg for those guys! Prices for B/C and D-series parts were strong. Didn't watch the tractors sell, prices are no doubt available on Proxibid, I can look them up and post a link if interested.
Overall a good day, saw several old friends I hadn't seen for a while and spent a day with Dad at one of our favorite venues, an auction. Tomorrow is something like 30 hayracks and trailers covered in new parts, small parts mostly, also some more used tractor and combine parts and shelving.. I have my eye on some new deck rollers for sure, and some Briggs parts. Wagons and trailers were packed close in a building so I couldn't get a real good look at all of them. I doubt I will need the alarm in the morning, I didn't today! |

IIRC, it brought $3900. A farmer, collector buddy of mine bought it, I'll give you three guesses what he runs for equipment, two don't count! |
