hey guys sorrry i havent ben around much, ive ben working on my new project, my 88 ford ranger,
did a little floor repair this weekend im a first time welder and this is how it came out
before

What do I think? I think it looks a whole lot better than a gaping hole! Looks like it should serve you well, a little cleaning up and some sort of coating to cover the bare metal. It wouldn't hurt to put something over the welds like a caulking of some sort to fill in the pinholes that inevitably happen welding thin rusty metal. I'd say job well done, keeping the old flivver going for a while longer.

Looks like a 1000% improvement to me. That's a lousy place to practice your welding but it looks like it have it under control.

I see the rest of it looks good! Is that red oxide primer? I bought a gallon a while back and am planning on shooting my daily driver with it, should look better than white and rust.

haha yeah, thats how i bought it, soon to be sanded down and gray auto primer and semi gloss black.!
