I've finished these items just waiting for full cure. I have been told to wait 30 days to wax after painting, what do you guys think? I waited 30 on the hood and waxed it, it turned out great but if I dont have to wait so long that would be better.

Looks Great! You didn't say what the paint is...

Some catylyzed paints harden fully in days, acrylics and laquers cure super fast, one part enamels can take months to fully harden in high humidity

Hmmm, hood, seatpan and tiller shield for your 200 series? Looks nice, please share what type of paint/color you used. The thirty day rule is important for the "old" types of paint. Like Larry said, the newer stuff will accept wax faster without bad results.

Life is all about paying. Pay attention, or pay the consequences, the choice is yours. Rich

i would say 30 days for rattle can enamel...
if you mixed paint and hardener then you might get away much
more quickly..

Alright dont lose your minds when I tell you the color... Its cub cadet yellow from valspare. Now, i looked for allis yellow and found it on line but this was a very close match and much more convienent. I was just going to do the hood and seat pan, then thought the tiller was looking rough, and realized it would look really funny if i put them on a tractor that was rusty so i went the extra mile. This is just to get me by for a few years till i have the time and money for a full resturation. Im working on reapolstering the seat tonight. Thanks for the feed back I am just going to give it the full 30 days.
