That is a very classic winter photo. Hauling firewood. "he that cuts his own wood warms himself twice."

Freddie...we have to see your linkage for the grader...how are you putting down pressure on it? Mine is simply the chain as seen in the old literature.

Looks like a fine time! What's the fine vintage truck in the background?

Looks like a mid 60's Dodge, maybe a Ford. What's all that white stuff? I'm really spoiled, all my tractors have hydraulic or electric lifts, some have two or three lifts.

Agree, it looks like a fun time. I'm betting the truck is a 53-56 Ford F-100, how about it Freddie, give us a clue.

At closer look, think it is an old ford, the snow on top made it look a little like a Dodge, but the box and lower cab area sure look like a mid 50's Ford

I think you need a buzzsaw to cut that firewood up. It would be a lot easier than cutting it with a chainsaw.
The pickup looks like a 55 ford that I rolled over on my 17th birthday. Then went home and ate cake.

The 7790 is back from the tractor hospital. I had them replace the trunion seal on the hydro and they replaced the main shaft in the BGB.
Last sat. I put the tire chains and plow on it. It is waiting for a northeaster so it can plow some snow. The week before I beefed up the plow by forming some metal gussets around the posterior outside ends of the plow and bolted them in place. This keeps the rocks from bending the end of the plow edge back. Every year I have to straighten it out and im getting tired of doing it. I used an old bed frame for the new gussets.

Great idea, hope you recess the gussets to the backside of the blade so as not to hold in snow. Man, either you got big rocks, your going awful fast, or your blade is a lot thinner than mine. I cant even imagine how fast I would have to go and how big a rock it would take to bend my blade without flipping the tractor, lol. Lets see some pictures, we know you can do it

Well when Im plowing the full length of the driveway we are at WOT and full speed ahead. The snow here in Massachusetts is usually on the wet side so you need the speed in order to move it. I will try to get some pics of the plow blade. Suppose to snow Sun thru monday maybe I will get some pics then.
