A fellow i work with invited me to see his grandfather's collection of old tractors. The place was packed with tractors, engines and various parts. Here are the pics. I especially enjoyed the Allis G, the Bush Hog and the B-series tractors.
Don't know anything about Panzer, but this guy was really into them!
This Big Ten was purchased from my local Allis dealer, still has the sticker on the other side!
Biggest Wheel Horse I've ever seen, a D-180 with 18 Horse Kohler.

It's the rag top on the old Simplicity that I'm voting for. Great photos. Thanks

Didn't some of those G's have single cylinder Kohlers? What's that one got? |

it has a 4 cylinder water cooled Continental that turned out about 9-11 hp when first marketed in 1948. Someone is still making a tractor based on the G somewhere in Alabama that used an air-cooled engine. I just can't remember the name of the company.

I'd bet that old Wheel Horse is a hot little cuss with the engine back between your knees. |

Thanks for the tour! That fella has assembled a very nice collection, some rather rare and nice original tractors. That restored G AC looks new. The talley of what all those are worth is staggering, he must be proud! My favorite would have to be the 725 Simp, hard telling what I would do to get my hands on an early rider like that. Never seen one around here, yet. |

Awesome, now I'd like to know how he puts those engines up on those shelves! Hoist on a beam, forklift, backhoe or just muscle them up there. |
