thanks mike.that helps. then mone not hooked up right. mine is running off the other side of the PTO. but it works. SCARY. i will take pics friday, its dark and rainy right now.
Yes, there are two types of blowers. The one Mike is showing is the right drive style and the other is the left. The right drive style has all sorts of extra turns on the belt. I've never hooked one up, but I have one.
i have both ive tried to hook the right drive on my 3112h forget it thats y i bought the other one i might save the right drive for a 64 LL im waiting on
i got it hooked up, now i have to fab up the blower tube asbly. heres a pic of the left side on my 101 with a 2010 hood. the 101 hood is in my paint booth
Out of all of the manuals I have seen and blowers I have seen, the ones with the engagement handle were made for the older fdt's that drove on the right side. The ones on the left side were all engaged via the cone clutch.
That being said, I have in no way seen every variety or configuration, so I could well be wrong.
oh ok. well it works good, just need to build the shoot and tube for it. i was messing with it in the back yard, and it throws the tennis ball for my yellow lab scooby, saves on the anm. L.O.L

Word of caution! Be careful and wear gloves and use a rake, shovel, or hoe to dislodge any stuck leaves in the trailer if they don't dump. It throws Scooby's piles real well too!
