Our electric leaf blower died today while OWHN was using it. Took it apart and found one brush worn out. Went to to see my friend who runs a starter/generator shop in his garage. He modified an existing brush to fit and refused to charge me for his time or the brush. Cleaned the armature, oiled the bearings, installed the brushes, and reassembled the leaf blower. It works like new. Sometimes I get lucky.

What do they say? "Even a blind squirrel occasionally finds a nut"
Sure could use a nut right now.
