502 Magnum MPI
The 415 hp 502 MAG MPI shares all the performance attributes of the small block 350 MAG MPI and big block 454 MAG MPI. All MAG MPI Series engines feature a high-tech, water-cooled fuel system to maintain consistent fuel delivery under all operating conditions. A one-piece serpentine belt system drives the power steering pump. This design is easier to service, requires less maintenance, provides unsurpassed belt life, and requires less horsepower to drive the engine accessories. The high-output 65-amp alternator gives you consistent turn-key starting and extra power to handle the demands of today's state-of-the-art electronics.
Features: An advanced roller cam design provides a lower friction coefficient, added torque, improved fuel economy, and greater horsepower for improved acceleration and top speed. Bravo One Performance drive available The new MEFI 3 ECM features advanced electronics for more precise fuel and spark control along with better top-end throttle response. Powerful 65-amp/917 watt alternator easily compensates for extra power required by EFI systems and fully charges batteries for dependable starting and powering of additional electrical accessories. EDP coated cast iron exhaust elbows for excellent corrosion resistance. Steel cone clutch provides smooth, quiet shifting operation. Lab finished Mercury Racing Mirage-Plus and Bravo 1 propellers available. Water-cooled and insulated fuel system helps keep fuel temperatures down.
