Posted - 01/25/2010 : 15:24:49 I've been turned on to a sunstar with a 14 or 16 hp kohler, forgot which. No attachments or extras. No problems sounds, looks, cuts good. Not my style, I'm into sovereigns and looks like nothing would interchange. What are these things worth? |

Posted - 01/29/2010 : 22:07:46 That's what I would do. Then let someone else buy you out of your boredom. Chris |

Posted - 01/29/2010 : 21:50:35 I picked the sunstar up today, sorry no pics. He kept his word, I got it for $350. Throttle adjustment and the brake pedal sticks is the only problems. Solid tractor. I might have to keep it a while instead of turning a buck. |

Posted - 01/27/2010 : 21:34:59 OH Boy. A shore bird that is doing something is a Plover. A shorebird doing nothing is a Plove. Now put that in your Plow Glove and chew on it Chris |

Posted - 01/27/2010 : 20:17:03 Isn't a plove a special glove for wiping plows? |

Posted - 01/27/2010 : 18:40:36 I have a plow, not a plove. Not even sure what a plove is. |

Posted - 01/27/2010 : 18:37:03 I have a plove off a 7116, will this work with this tractor? So much looks different from the 3000/7000 series that I have been working with. That's the reason I didn't buy it originally. |

Posted - 01/27/2010 : 18:27:41 The price of $350 with no know problems is a good price. I purchased my 18hp for $400 and put quite a bit of work into it before it was fit to give to my Son. He mow's, blows snow, and uses it with a loader. He really likes it. Just beware! They are NOT a tight turning tractor and do need room to move around. Keep the drive shaft u-joints lubed and it last a long time. Chris |

Posted - 01/27/2010 : 16:58:03 $650. I looked at it a month ago as far as I remember there is nothing wrong with it. Had a chance to buy it for $250 when he bought it with a vacuum bagger trailer and passed. I talked to him last week, think I can get it for $350. |

Dougzilla |
Posted - 01/26/2010 : 18:37:33 Well, he just put it up for sale at twice the price he told me. We'll see if he's a man of his word or a man of his wallet. |

Posted - 01/25/2010 : 22:50:26 Doug, like all things much depends on condition, local market and the sellers knowledge. I have seen them sell from $500 to $2500 on the extremes for working tractors but see most go in a range from $1200-1500. |
