I've seen (on ebay and other ads; none in person) so few, I've given up on finding one for my original target price of $1500;

do you think $2500 - 3000 is reasonable value given:

a. it is on a bolens ht23, so at least the subframe and hydro pump is wrong for a 9020 ( for a 9020, I don't even know where the pump mounts)

B. "Well used, pins loose, no cylinder leaks nor rust, hoses ok"

c. "works good with good power"

I'm trying to decide if I even want to go loook at it ( 3hr drive 1 way, but i like to drive, even with these gas prices). How disappointed can I be? How much work to adapt?

For 6k, maybe I should just buy and use as is the bolens, FEL, and hoe?

Please, let know what you think.

Sam

I agree with Dan on needing a picture. I will say that if I bought a tractor with a backhoe and resold it later, it seems tractors seem to hold their value very well. Good luck and yes show us a picture.

Without seeing at least a pic, it's hard to say. I'd say 6k is way too high. Heck, for that money you can buy a well used but functional full size backhoe w/loader. But it's YOUR decision. What's too high to others might make you perfectly happy & that is the bottom line....what YOU want to do. Make danged sure you take a digital camera though...we want pics either way!
