Well I recently had become interested in a model 209 cultivator for sale on another forum that unfortunately got grabbed up before I could get to it. So today as I was scrolling through the local craigslist I happened to stumble upon an ad for a simplicity cultivator. Well I click on it and it turns out to be a real nice 209 Simplicity cultivator. So I text the guy and ask him where he is located and he wasn't no more than five miles from my house. I ask him if I can come take a look and he says sure. I get there and look it over good and decide I'm taking it home. His asking price was $65 but I asked him if he would take $60 and he said sure. So I brought it home cleaned on it a little and flipped the jack screw around to where I can adjust it from the seat and I'm thinking that it is going to be a real nice addition.

When I first got it home

The seller also mentioned that he knew a guy that had a set of simplicity/allis-chalmers triple gang reel mowers. So I might be calling about them here soon. So we will see how all that works out but that's all for now.

I didn't ask him about the toolbar but I have his number so I guess I could. Those loaders go for big money and unfortanutely I haven't seen one for sale around here yet but a L-12 would be really nice to have.

by chance did you ask if he had the center tool bar? great snag by the way. been keeping my eye on a L-12 loader with a simplicity tractor. asking 2000 for it about 1000 more at this point then what i would be willing to give for it.

Nice snag on the cultivator. Look good.
